Happy Easter!

Their dresses were indeed as huge and poofy as they look. And I LOVE them.

At the temple to hear daddy sing with the Institute.

Finding out FRIDAY if we're adding another giggly girl OR throwing a boy into this princess palace. Super excited about that!

A New Family Member

Well, it might as well be. Blood sweat and tears went into the making of this, my first quilt!
My mother-in-law was so kind to teach me how to do it. I made it for Lucy's bed and I think it turned out pretty dang good for my first go around.
I sewed the entire top myself, with my mother-in-law giving me instructions here and there, but I mostly did it at home by myself.
When it came time to quilt however, we were at her house using her NICE machine and she helped ALOT.
My mom helped me finish it off with the binding (the edge) today, which I think looks so cute! Lucy has been waiting for this for quite a while, I sure hope she appreciates it.
Check out that last picture, those were a lot of strips! I'm so proud of it and excited to make another one! Maybe before this baby comes, I can't see me being able to make a quilt with 3 kids...

Making Dreams Come True

So, today the girls and I went to Home Depot to get a gallon of paint to paint the master bedroom. As the paint was being mixed we went to get some other painting supplies, rollers, etc. Well, ya know those mini-rollers, the ones that are like a third the size of the regular roller? I think they're for doing edges or something. Anyway, Lucy asked me what it was and I told her and then said, " I was thinking of getting one for you so you can help us paint, since its just your size."  She hugged that roller tight, spun around and said, "I've been dreaming about this for all my years! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!"

That's me, m-o-m. Making dreams come true for $2.97.
